Iran’s Foreign Ministry Highlights Preparations for Upcoming Talks

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei says planning for the negotiations has been made for the coming days, and consultations to determine the venue for the talks are currently underway while information will be shared as soon as it is finalized.

Baqaei made the remarks in response to a question from an IRNA reporter regarding the coordination process for conducting negotiations between Iran and the United States—based on a directive by President Masoud Pezeshkian.

Baqaei expressed gratitude to all friendly nations that, with concern and goodwill, have dedicated themselves to facilitating a diplomatic process.

He clarified that in principle, the location and timing of the talks are not complex issues and should not serve as a pretext for media games.

Baqaei pointed out that Turkey, Oman, and several other regional countries have expressed their readiness to host the talks, which is highly valued by us.
