The Israeli enemy continued on Wednesday its violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and the ceasefire based on the UN Resolution 1701, attacking several towns in South Lebanon.
In this regard, Al-Manar correspondent in South Lebanon reported that the Israeli occupation forces targeted the Rashaya Al-Fakhar town with artillery shells.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes roamed the skies of Lebanon’s Bekaa, Al-Manar reporter mentioned.
In a joint statement, the Lebanese ministries of agriculture and environment announced that, after their crews detected the chemicals sprayed by the enemy in the border area, they found out that they were Glyphosate pesticides that endanger the agricultural lands, environmental equilibrium, and food security.
The statement denounced the Israeli aggression and affirmed that the specialist crews will completely survey the affected area and take the necessary measures.
President Joseph Aoun condemned in the strongest terms the spraying of chemical substances in southern Lebanon, describing the act as a flagrant violation of Lebanese sovereignty.
