More than 24 Palestinians have been martyred in Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, according to preliminary figures, as Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement continue. This raises the total number of Palestinians martyred since the ceasefire was declared on October 11 to 556, with approximately 1,500 wounded.

Among those killed was Basel al-Himouni, a released prisoner from Hebron in the West Bank who had been deported to Gaza, in an Israeli airstrike on Wednesday. Israeli occupation forces also assassinated Ali al-Razayna, commander of the northern brigade of the Al-Quds Brigades, and Bilal Abu Assi, a senior commander in the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, in Khan Younis.

Enemy warplanes, artillery, and warships continued escalation, targeting civilian areas in northern, eastern, and coastal areas of Gaza, including the Khan Younis beach. A girl was wounded by Israeli fire inside her tent near the Abu Hamid roundabout in central Khan Younis early this morning, and buildings were demolished in the Jabalia camp in the northern Strip.

Since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, the overall death toll has risen to 71,824, with 171,608 wounded.
