Larijani arrived in Muscat on an official visit and was received by Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Lt. Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Nu’amani.
During the visit, he also met with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi and several senior officials to discuss regional and international developments, as well as bilateral cooperation at various levels, with particular emphasis on economic ties.
The timing of the visit underscores Oman’s continued role as a trusted mediator in efforts between Tehran and Washington.
In a related meeting, Larijani held talks with Mohammed Abdul Salam, head of Yemen’s negotiating delegation.
Larijani warned that the United States should exercise caution and not allow Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to posture ahead of his trip as if he intends to dictate the framework of nuclear negotiations to Washington.
In remarks shared from an interview with Oman’s national television network, Larijani said, “Netanyahu is now on his way to the United States. Americans must think carefully and not allow him to posture before his trip as though he is going to instruct them on the framework of nuclear negotiations. They must remain alert to the disruptive role of the Zionists.”
Netanyahu is now on his way to the United States. Americans must think wisely and not allow him, through posturing, to imply before his flight that 'I want to go and teach Americans the framework of the nuclear negotiations.'

Planned Visit to Qatar as Part of Regional Tour
Separately, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baqaei announced that the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council will soon visit Qatar.
Speaking at the ministry’s weekly press briefing, Baqaei said Larijani’s visit to Oman is part of a broader regional tour that follows earlier visits to Russia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq.
He added that the visit aligns with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s consistent policy of strengthening relations with neighboring and regional countries, noting that the trip was coordinated in advance as part of ongoing consultations.
