The inspired and inspiring commander of the Islamic Resistance heroes gained the glory of victory and martyrdom. He fraternally led Hezbollah military wing to achieve successive triumphs and defeat the Israeli enemy in 2000 and 2006.
For over 25 years, the intelligence agencies of the richest and most powerful states attempted to strike the iconic commander of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hajj Imad Mugniyeh aka Hajj Rudwan.
The assassination of Hajj Rudwan after a 25-year chase is not a success, Hezbollah’s martyred official, Sheikh Nabil Qawook said in a televised interview.
The martyred commander escaped several assassination bids in Lebanon and other countries, Sheikh Qawook added.
“He was not afraid of martyrdom.”

In an interview with Al-Manar TV Channel, Al-Akhbar daily’s editor-in-chief Ibrahim Al-Amin mentioned that the martyr was detected by the Saudi, Egyptian, French as well as the US and Israeli intelligence agencies. Al-Amin added that Hajj Rudwan, founded the Hezbollah intelligence department.
Addressing the mourning service of Hajj Rudwan, the former commander of IRGC’s Al-Quds Force General Qassem Suleimani said, “His name panicked the enemies.”

On the night of February 12, 2008, Hezbollah’s top military commander Hajj Imad Mughniyeh was martyred in a car bomb attack carried out by Israeli Mossad agents in Damascus, Syria.
