Two Palestinians were martyred and several others wounded on Thursday by Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, as ‘Israel’ continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the territory.
Palestinian sources reported that “one citizen was killed and others wounded by Israeli fire near Kuwait Roundabout, south of the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.” They added, “The young man, Muhammad Salim Dababish, was killed by Israeli fire in the Zarqa area of the Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.”
The sources added, “Four citizens, including a woman, were wounded by Israeli fire on Salah al-Din Street in the central Gaza Strip.” They continued, “Israeli occupation forces opened fire toward the center of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, then shelled the area with artillery before their vehicles and bulldozers entered the camp under cover of fire, where they destroyed what remained of the UNRWA schools.”
The sources indicated that “Israeli occupation forces continued demolishing residential buildings east of the central governorate and east of Gaza City, in an escalation that deepened the destruction in populated areas.” They added that “in the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, Israeli military vehicles targeted Palestinian homes with heavy machine gun fire, directly hitting one house. Meanwhile, an Israeli drone strike injured children on Kashko Street in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, before artillery shelling targeted the same neighborhood.”
The sources said, “A Palestinian child was shot in the back while sleeping inside his tent in the Maslakh area, as a result of heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles toward the southern part of Khan Younis.” They continued, “On Thursday, Israeli warplanes also launched an airstrike on the eastern part of the city, in a clear continuation of violations despite the ceasefire agreement.”
