Yemen’s Ansarullah leader Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi warned on Thursday that ongoing developments in the region aim to impose a dangerous “equation of subjugation,” stressing that accepting it would have severe consequences for the Muslim world.

Regional Threats and Occupation

Sayyed Al-Houthi affirmed that the Zionist enemy, in partnership with the United States, is seeking to dominate all Muslim peoples, with a particular focus on the Islamic Republic of Iran, which he described as the first barrier to their ambitions. He condemned Israeli actions in the occupied West Bank, calling them “a full spectrum of crimes,” and emphasized that no one with a shred of humanity could accept such imposition.

He also highlighted the significance of Jeffrey Epstein’s documents, describing them as revealing “a breeding ground of Zionism producing future leaders and rulers,” calling for their careful examination.

Moral and Educational Decline

Turning to the upcoming holy month, Sayyed Al-Houthi stressed that the Muslim world’s weakness stems from a deficit in piety, religious formation, and the neglect of core responsibilities. He described Ramadan as a crucial opportunity to restore faith-based values and revive the nation’s rightful role in confronting challenges.

“The nation suffers losses due to its failure to fulfill responsibilities, rooted in a profound flaw in piety,” he said, adding that regimes and governments have largely failed to provide comprehensive religious education or translate it into effective action.

Sayyed Al-Houthi linked this deficiency to widespread submission and dependence on “enemies and the allies of Satan,” warning that it drives some toward psychological defeat and surrender. He criticized regimes for removing essential duties, particularly jihad to defend the nation and confront injustice, and for suppressing discourse on enjoining good, forbidding evil, and establishing justice—sacred responsibilities he said have been erased from religious and media narratives.

Soft War and Spiritual Erosion

Yemen’s Sayyed Al-Houthi also highlighted the dangers of “soft war,” in which adversaries target the nation’s relationship with divine guidance, aiming to sever its moral compass. He called it the most deceptive conflict in human history, warning that enemies seek to strip humanity of its moral and spiritual essence.

In response, he underscored the role of fasting, saying it cultivates discipline, patience, resilience, and ethical awareness. “Human beings need continuous reminders of God and opportunities to purify themselves,” he said, urging Muslims to observe Ramadan with consciousness and dedication to seize its spiritual benefits amid mounting challenges.

Sayyed Al-Houthi concluded by stressing the urgent need to address moral and educational deficits in the world’s two billion Muslims, emphasizing that a strong relationship with divine guidance must produce tangible effects in decisions, integrity, and adherence to God’s promise.
