The former prime minister Saad Hariri delivered on Saturday a speech on the 21st anniversary of his father’s assassination.
Every year you declare your commitment to martyr Rafic Hariri path, Hariri said, addressing the crowds that gathered in Beirut’s downtown.
“I assure you, tomorrow will be better, and the light is clear at the end of the tunnel. Believe me, this is the end of the tunnel.”
Harirism will be never over, he added.
Hariri indicated that the Future Movement sees politics as loyalty and defending the country’s dignity, the sovereignty of its 10,452 km², and the rights of all people in every home in the North, Bekaa, South, Mount Lebanon, and every neighborhood in Beirut and its suburbs.
“I extend a sincere greeting to our people in the South, who deserve a state that secures them in their land.”
Hariri: We are all responsible for what’s happening in Tripoli, and we call for not shifting the blame for what’s happening there.
“When parliamentary elections come around in Lebanon, they’ll hear our voices and count your votes,” he said, hinting at that his political movement will participate in the public polls.
