Member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance bloc MP Ibrahim Al-Moussawi stressed on Monday that the anniversary of the martyred leaders constitutes a pivotal moment to reaffirm the resistance’s record of victories and achievements.
In an interview with Al-Nour Radio, Al-Moussawi hailed the resistance, saying it was “born out of faith and a commitment to truth.”
“The resistance has maintained steadfastness along its chosen path, offering a model of perseverance that resonates beyond Lebanon,” the Hezbollah lawmaker stated.
“Through its adherence to principles and loyalty to its supporters, the resistance has contributed to deepening political and national awareness among the Lebanese people. It has consistently demonstrated that it is a regenerating force, capable of recovering from challenges and rising repeatedly to achieve victory.”
Shifting into Lebanese developments, MP Al-Moussawi said Lebanon is going through an existential and fateful phase that demands confronting points of weakness while reinforcing the foundations of national strength.
In this context, he called upon the Lebanese State to remain firm in the face of political pressure, “with all parties urged to uphold the resistance option and refrain from making further concessions.”

The Hezbollah MP stressed, meanwhile, that Lebanon is not weak, noting that an investment in national unity remains the most effective path to safeguarding sovereignty.
“As long as the people remain conscious of the resistance’s choices and recognize it as a national asset, the resistance will not be defeated.”
On the parliamentary elections, MP Al-Moussawi said Speaker Nabih Berri has announced the launch of preparations for the upcoming vote.
“Hezbollah is approaching the electoral process as a coordinated effort alongside the Amal Movement, underscoring high expectations for the role of Hezbollah’s Media Committee role in promoting awareness and reinforcing national values,” stated MP Al-Moussawi, who also heads Hezbollah’s Media Committee.
Hezbollah annually marks anniversary of martyred leaders on February 16. Key spiritual leader Sheikh Ragheb Harb, former S.G. Sayyed Abbas Al-Moussawi and top military commander Hajj Imad Mughniyeh were assassinated by Israeli enemy on 1984, 1992 and 2008 successively.
