    Occupation Intensifies: Wave of Raids, Arrests, and Settler Attacks Sweep West Bank

      The Israeli enemy has launched a campaign of raids and arrests across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank. Cities and refugee camps in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem witnessed a significant escalation of violence from last night until dawn today, following a series of incursions by Israeli occupation forces. These operations coincided with fierce attacks by Israeli settlers in various areas, particularly in the northern Jordan Valley and east of Nablus.

      Palestinian sources reported that Israeli military vehicles stormed the city of Tubas, the town of Aqaba to the north, and the village of Wadi al-Far’a to the south, raiding residents’ homes. They added that this occurred simultaneously with settlers launching an attack on the Hammamat al-Malih area in the northern Jordan Valley, during which they vandalized residents’ vehicles and physically assaulted the head of the local council—an attempt to intimidate residents and forcibly displace them from their land.

      The sources further stated that in Nablus, occupation forces continued their operations by storming the village of Bazariya, northwest of the city. They also advanced toward the western area of the Al-Murabba’a checkpoint, approaching the Al-Ain refugee camp, which witnessed heavy use of stun grenades during the raids and searches. Settlers continued their rampage in the Al-Amawi area near the village of Ein Shibli, northeast of Nablus, attacking the homes of unarmed civilians under the protection of occupation soldiers. This led to panic among local residents and caused significant damage to private property.

      In Tulkarm, the raids were concentrated in the towns of Attil, Deir al-Ghusun, Zeita, Allar, and Saida. The occupation forces launched a campaign of house raids that resulted in the arrest of journalist Hammam Atili from his home in Attil—just two days after his release from Palestinian Authority prisons, where he had been held for 441 days. The occupation forces also arrested young man Wadi’ Maher Qashou’ after raiding his home in the town of Allar.

      Meanwhile, sources reported that occupation forces intensified their presence in Hebron by storming the Al-Fawwar camp and the towns of Al-Rihya and Beit Ummar, as well as the Safa area. Enemy Soldiers raided and ransacked several homes amid tight security measures.

      The raids also extended to Bethlehem, which witnessed an incursion into the Jannata Al-Arouj area to the east. In Ramallah, occupation forces closed the entrance gate to the town of Turmus Ayya, hindering the movement of citizens and completely besieging the area—part of the ongoing policy of restriction imposed by the occupation against Palestinians in various governorates.
