A missile impact killed at least nine Israelis on Sunday, and 28 others were injured in the latest barrage of Iranian missiles in retaliation for the US-Israeli aggression on the Islamic Republic.
Israeli media quoted medics and police as saying that nine Israelis were killed and 20 more were wounded in Beit Shemesh area, west of occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem)
Some 30 ambulances from Magen David Adom were dispatched to the scene, while the occupation army said that Home Front Command Search and Rescue teams, combined with numerous medical forces and a helicopter to evacuate the wounded, were operating at the scene, The Jerusalem Post reported.
The missile struck a residential area in the city, causing extensive damage to a public bomb shelter and surrounding homes, according to Time of Israel.
Beit Shemesh Mayor Shmuel Greenberg said that there are 20 Israelis that have not been able to be reached.
The occupation army said that the early warning system “functioned as planned and was activated in the impact area, while the situation was being investigated.”
The US and the Zionist entity launched a wide-scale aggression on Iran on Saturday, assassinating Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei and other top commanders. The Islamic Republic retaliated with several waves of missile and drone strikes targeteing several areas across the Islamic Republic.
