Yemen’s Ansarullah revolutionary group condemned the escalating Israeli aggression against Lebanon, warning that violations have persisted unabated since the ceasefire, in full view of the international community and without meaningful deterrence from either the Lebanese state or the agreement’s guarantors.
In a statement, Ansarullah politburo described the Israeli attacks as unjustified, aimed at imposing a fait accompli that undermines Lebanon’s sovereignty and restricts the legitimate right of both the state and the resistance to respond.
It praised Hezbollah for its commitment to preserving internal stability and shielding the Lebanese people from further harm, stressing that “decades of confrontation have shown that the Israeli enemy responds only to force, while that seeking peace with this entity has only led to further brutality, criminality, and expansion.”
Ansarullah, meanwhile, reaffirmed its full solidarity with Lebanon and called on Arab and Islamic countries to adopt responsible and decisive positions at what it described as a critical and dangerous turning point for the region.
Lebanon is undergoing brutal Israeli aggression on several areas across south Lebanon, Dahiyeh and Bekaa.
The aggression which started on Monday, killed at least 52 people and injured 154 others. It also forced hundreds of thousands of people to flee their towns and villages in the targeted areas.
