The official Israeli radio station reported that occupation forces arrested three Palestinians from the Gaza Strip in the Bedouin town of Rahat in southern occupied Palestine. The report claimed the three had been hiding since crossing the border during the October 7, 2023 operation, without providing further details about the circumstances of their arrest or their fate.
On the ground, Israeli artillery and helicopter fire heavily targeted areas east of Khan Younis where its forces are deployed, marking a continuation of ongoing military aggression. Concurrently, Israel’s Channel 12, citing a security source, reported that the army is nearing the end of its clearing operations behind the so-called “Yellow Line.” The source claimed disarmament operations have been completed in roughly 52 percent of the Gaza Strip under Israeli control.

The Israeli enemy escalation coincides with a deepening humanitarian catastrophe. The Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital in Khan Younis’s Mawasi area announced the suspension of all surgeries due to a critical shortage of medical supplies. The hospital administration described the decision as “painful,” noting that hundreds of cases are on waiting lists, depriving thousands of patients of essential care. It warned of a complete shutdown if crossings remain closed and Israel continues to block the entry of medicines and equipment.
It is worth noting that with the implementation of the ceasefire agreement on October 10th, the occupation army partially redeployed within the Gaza Strip in areas it calls the “Yellow Line.” However, it continued to target Palestinians in the vicinity of these areas, in violations that have resulted in the deaths of approximately 400 Palestinians, according to official sources in the Strip.
These developments come amidst the ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has lasted for more than two years and has resulted in the deaths of more than 70,000 Palestinians and injuries to over 171,000, in addition to the destruction of approximately 90 percent of the civilian infrastructure.
