Loyalty to Resistance Parliamentary Bloc in Lebanon issued Thursday a statement on the occasion of International Quds Day.
Al-Quds Day dawns on Muslims and the oppressed this year amidst a living testimony that confirms the aggressive war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the authenticity of the meanings, dimensions, and implications that Imam Khomeini (may God sanctify his soul) aimed at and intended to warn about half a century ago, the reviver of the nation’s uprising in the present era and the renewer of its role and vitality in shaping transformations, according to the statement.
“The targeting of Iran and its political system, which has adopted the cause of liberating Quds as an entry point for achieving international security and peace, reflects the extent of American and Western involvement with global Zionism in occupying the capital of the civilizational presence of those opposing colonialism, occupation, and forces of domination and hegemony. It also confirms the position of Quds as a hot flashpoint between the forces of liberation and colonialism in a region that represents the heart of the world.”
“The level of aggressive bullying reached by the allied aggressive forces against the peoples of our region and their interests has become indicative of the magnitude and effectiveness of the awakening role undertaken by the Iranian Islamic Revolution and Republic to raise the level of interest and serious approach to shaping the region’s future in light of opposing Zionist occupation, resisting its usurping entity, and foiling projects of plundering, annexation, and soft domination of the region, its resources, and wealth by the arrogant forces of Taghut, led by the American administration and its aggressive interests guardian, the Zionist entity occupying Quds and Palestine,” it added.
“The Loyalty to Resistance Bloc sees in the current direct confrontation between the original and direct international thief and its regional users on one hand, and the Islamic Republic supporting the legitimate right-holders represented by the Palestinian people and their resistant allies on the other, a promising strategic indicator to end the ambiguity and hypocrisy that has covered the ugliness of American and Zionist aggression on the entire region throughout the past period of conflict. The confrontation raging today opens a new path that will begin a countdown towards liberation from subjugation and rising to seriously determine destiny.”
“The Loyalty to Resistance Bloc renews on this great occasion its full support and solidarity with the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership, and people, as well as with the brave and resistant Palestinian people, and calls for more integration at all levels to move to a new stage of decisive conflict to affirm the nation’s civilizational identity and strengthen its capabilities for comprehensive uprising and liberation,” it noted.
“It is proud of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon’s efforts to confront, hinder, and thwart the goals of Zionist aggression on Lebanon and the region.”
