The Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the execution of the 51st wave of Operation “True Promise 4,” through the launch of a combined liquid- and solid-fueled missile system targeting US forces at Al-Kharj Air Base, which the IRGC considers a launchpad for attacks against Iran.
The IRGC Public Relations Office explained that this base serves as a center for preparing US F-35 and F-16 fighter jets, houses refueling aircraft storage facilities, and is the main base for US AWACS early warning aircraft.
The statement added that this wave of the operation was dedicated to commemorate the martyred IRGC Brigadier General Abolghasem Babaian and his martyred wife.
