Israeli Aggression Continues Across Southern Lebanon as Resistance Strikes Back

The Israeli aggression against Lebanon continues unabated, with airstrikes and artillery barrages targeting both civilian infrastructure and populated areas, even as the resistance confronts the offensive by striking enemy settlements and military installations and repelling infiltration attempts along border villages.

In the latest escalation, an airstrike on the town of Shahabiya killed one civilian and left four others with moderate injuries, while causing significant damage to a residential neighborhood.

Further casualties were reported in the Tyre district, where artillery shelling on the town of Haniyeh killed one person and wounded another. The injured were transported to area hospitals.

Enemy shelling also inflicted extensive damage on homes and shops in the town of Tibnin, where civil defense teams worked to clear debris from roads to restore passage.

A cautious calm prevailed this morning in the western sector of the Tyre district, broken intermittently by the overflight of warplanes.

In the early hours, Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike between the towns of Adshit and Qusaybah, followed by a subsequent strike on the town of Bariqah. The area between Kfarsir and Qusaybah was subjected to artillery shelling, while an enemy drone carried out a raid on the town of Kfar Tebnit.

At dawn, enemy warplanes staged a fierce airstrike on the Qaqaiya Bridge, a key artery connecting the Nabatieh area to Wadi al-Hujair and the Ghandouriya sector, completely destroying it.

An airstrike targeting a motorcycle in the town of Majdal Selm killed the rider and wounded two others, who were evacuated by an Islamic Scout Association ambulance to a hospital.

Meanwhile, the town of Shaqra, at the entrance to Wadi al-Salouqi, came under heavy artillery shelling. Enemy warplanes also carried out an airstrike at dawn on the town of Khiam, while artillery shells targeted homes in Maroun al-Ras.

The outskirts of Naqoura, Zibqin, Hamoul, and Tayr Harfa were also hit by enemy artillery.

At noon, warplanes conducted two raids on Qusaybah in southern Lebanon, targeting an area near the site of previous airstrikes that severed the highway in the Qasmiya neighborhood of Burj Rahal. Enemy artillery additionally targeted Wadi al-Salouqi and the town of Majdal Selm.
