The death toll from a consecutive operation attack in the Beit She’an area of northern occupied Palestine has risen to two, according to Israeli army radio. The incidents, involving both a vehicle and a stabbing operation, were carried out by a single man.
Israeli media identified the Palestinian man one who carried out the operation as a young man from the village of Qabatiya, near Jenin, who reportedly infiltrated the area several days prior. He targeted locations in and around Beit She’an, approximately 20 kilometers from his village.
Details from the Israeli ambulance service indicate the attack unfolded at multiple sites. At first he rammed his car into an Israeli, fatally wounding him. He then exited his vehicle and stabbed a woman, who also later died from her injuries. Six other people were wounded in the violence. Israeli police shot and arrested the perpetrator at the scene.
