Highly skilled fighters of Hezbollah resistance group are writing a new chapter in Lebanon’s history, standing firm against Israeli forces in the south while sustaining a steady barrage of rockets on sites and settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Lebanese resistance fighters on Friday battled Israeli forces in fierce clashes along multiple border areas with occupied Palestine, with some engagements unfolding at point-blank range, according to statements issued by Hezbollah’s Military Media.
More Merkava tanks were hunted down by the group’s elite marksmen, with direct hits recorded and casualties reported among occupation forces.
Meanwhile, the resistance fighters sustained the momentum of rocket fire, targeting Israeli sites and settlements across the occupied Palestinian territories, “in defense of Lebanon and its people,” as mentioned by Hezbollah Military Media’s statements.
At 00:05 and 00:10 on Friday, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers and vehicles at Khallat Al-Ain in the town of Al-Qantara with a rocket barrages, first and second statement issued by the Military Media mentioned.
Later on, at 00:15, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted an Israeli gathering in Al-Qantara square with a salvo of rockets, third statement read.
Meanwhile at 00:15, Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance fighters targeted an Israeli force which was attempting to advance at Khallat Al-Jawar, east of Beit Leef town, fourth statement mentioned, adding that the strike employed a guided missile and that a direct hit was achieved.
At 00:50 on Friday, the resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles near the cemetery of Al-Qantara with a salvo of rockets, according to fifth statement issued by Hezbollah Military Media.
Later at 02:15, another Israeli gathering was targeted by Islamic Resistance fighters at the public pool in the border town of Dibil with a barrage of rockets, sixth statement mentioned.

The Military Media’s seventh statement declared a confrontation between Islamic Resistance fighters and Israeli forces a day earlier (on Thursday). The statement noted that the resistance fighters detonated explosive devices against an Israeli force infiltrating the road between Taybe and Al-Qantara, inflicting confirmed casualties.
Another statement documented a strike which took place earlier on Thursday. It read: “At 14:50 yesterday, Thursday, March 26, 2026, Islamic Resistance fighters detonated explosive devices targeting Israeli enemy vehicles in the town of Deir Siryan in southern Lebanon, inflicting confirmed casualties.”
At 04:30 and 07:15 on Friday, Islamic Resistance fighters fired barrages of rockets targeting the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona, ninth and tenth statements mentioned.
Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 08:30 on Friday an Israeli Merkava tank on the southwestern outskirts of Al-Bayada town landing a direct hit with a guided missile, according to eleventh statement issued on Friday by the group’s Military Media.
Later at 09:00 on Friday, Islamic Resistance fighters struck an Israeli force that had infiltrated a house on the outskirts of Al-Bayada with a guided missile, scoring a direct hit, twelfth statement mentioned.
Meanwhile at 09:00 on Friday, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Israeli settlement of Margaliot with a squadron of attack drones, according to another statement issued by Hezbollah Military Media.
A fourteenth statement declared a rocket attack targeting the Israeli settlement of Metula at 09:10 on Friday.
At 09:10 Friday, Islamic Resistance fighters ambushed an Israeli force advancing from Al-Bayada toward Shama, engaging it with light and medium weapons and scoring direct hits, fifteenth statement by Hezbollah Military Media mentioned.
Meanwhile on Friday, Hezbollah Military Media released a video showing a missile strike on an Israeli Merkava in the southern town of Deir Seryan. The strike, which took place on Thursday (March 26) as dated in the video, employed a guided missile.
A sixteenth statement reported more clashes between resistance fighters and Israeli fighters at 11:00 on Friday.
“Islamic Resistance fighters engaged an Israeli force at point-blank range in Al-Bayada, using light and medium weapons and scoring direct hits,” the statement read.
Another Merkava Tank was targeted at 12:00 on Friday, also in Al-Bayada, but this time by an attack drone, according to a seventeenth statement.
At 12:30 on Friday, Islamic Resistance fighters clashed again with Israeli forces in the towns of Al-Bayyada and Shamaa at point-blank range with light and medium weapons, scoring direct hits, according to eighteenth statement released by Hezbollah Military Media.
Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Israeli settlement of Nahariya with a rocket barrage at 13:15, in context of the warning issued to a number of settlements in northern occupied Palestine, nineteenth statement mentioned.
At 12:00 on Friday, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Israeli barracks of Beit Hillel with a rocket barrage, another statement issued by Hezbollah Military Media read.
A twenty-first statement mentioned that since dawn on Friday, Islamic Resistance fighters have unleashed successive waves of rocket and artillery fire against Israeli enemy troops and armored vehicles near Al-Bayyada, striking with precision and intensity.
Another drone strike was documented by Hezbollah’s Military Media, according to twenty-second statement.
“At 10:40 on Friday, Islamic Resistance fighters launched a squadron of attack drones against the Gadot site north of Lake Tiberias,” it read.
