Al-Manar and Al-Mayadeen TV channels on Sunday bid a solemn and symbolic farewell to martyred correspondent Ali Shoeib, alongside martyred journalist Fatima Ftouni and her brother, martyred cameraman Mohammad Ftouni.

Their bodies were laid to rest at Imam al-Sadiq Cemetery in Beirut’s southern suburbs (Dahiyeh), in a temporary burial pending their eventual transfer to southern Lebanon with the victorious returnees.

The funeral procession drew a large crowd of media colleagues, Arab and international journalists, as well as family members and friends.

The video below shows funeral prayers which were led by Sayyed Bilal Wehbi.

The Israeli enemy assassinated Al-Manar’s veteran military correspondent Ali Shoeib and Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent Fatima Ftouni on Saturday, along with her brother yesterday on the Jezzine road as they carried out their professional duty covering the Israeli aggression against Lebanon.

Two paramedics were martyred after being targeted by another missile launched by an Israeli drone, as they attempted to evacuate the journalists on the Jezzine road.

The attack drew widespread condemnation from official bodies, media unions, and political parties, both locally and internationally, with calls to hold the Zionist entity accountable and to ensure the protection of journalists and paramedics.
