The Islamic Resistance Operations Room issued a statement on the Heroic Confrontation in the Ainatha Axis, explaining how the fighters repelled the advance of 15 armored vehicles and bombarded the gatherings of the occupation soldiers.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
“Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is Most Capable of granting them victory.”

Within its effort to control the Bint Jbeil area, the “Israeli” enemy army in recent days began its mobilization procedures for an attack along a main advance axis originating from the Al-Malkiya border settlement. Indicators of the actual movement of its forces along this axis were observed on 28-03-2026 at 20:45, with an advance consisting of 4 Merkava tanks, 2 bulldozers, and 1 armored personnel carrier from Al-Tarouq Hill south of Maroun Al-Ras border town toward Al-Khanouq Hill in Aitaroun border town.
At dawn on Sunday, 29-03-2026, a combined force from the 401 and Givati Brigades moved along a secondary advance axis toward Ainatha town to reach Bint Jbeil city from the northeastern side.
Under the watchful eyes of the Islamic Resistance fighters, the force, consisting of 25 armored vehicles, advanced toward the Aqaba area and El-Friz height in Ainatha town. Upon reaching Ghadmatha height, the fighters detonated at 01:30 a Shawath EFP against a Merkava tank and an improvised explosive device [IED] on a D9 bulldozer, which halted the advance and forced a flanking maneuver from Karhaboun– Al-Hajja Hill; however, the fighters intercepted them again at 10:00.
The enemy renewed its advance attempt in the afternoon of the same day, so the Resistance engineering unit detonated a Shawath EFP on one of its tanks in Al-Sidr area in Ainatha at 15:00 and an improvised explosive device [IED] on another tank in the same area at 16:00.
On Monday, 30-03-2026, the fighters engaged in three successive clashes with enemy forces inside Ainatha town between 12:00 and 17:00 in the Ghadmatha and Al-Sidr areas, during which they targeted a Merkava tank with a guided missile.
At 19:45, the fighters targeted a command positioning post belonging to the enemy forces near El-Friz Hill in Ainatha with a precision missile, achieving a precise hit. Meanwhile, the artillery fighters bombarded enemy gatherings and positionings more than 15 times throughout the confrontation period.
