Loyalty to Resistance Parliamentary Bloc considered that Lebanon is standing at the threshold of a new phase in its history, where its fate will be determined.
“Either it remains a country with internationally recognized borders, or the Zionist entity will impose changes to its borders, as called for by leaders of this entity to expand its occupation to the Litani River, as part of their expansionist settlement project to achieve their historical dream of ‘Greater Israel’.”
The Bloc added that the resistance is standing firm with its brave men, expertise, and martyrdom spirit to face this Zionist plan, defending its country, along with a loyal and sacrificing people who are not deterred by challenges and bear the pain for their sacred cause.
The Bloc praised the heroes in the border villages, writing national epics defending the south’s soil, paying the price in blood to protect Lebanon from the most dangerous project threatening its existence, through attempts to occupy its land, displace its people, and change its borders.
The Bloc expressed its highest appreciation and salute to these brave resistors, the families of martyrs and wounded, and the patient displaced people for their great sacrifices to keep Lebanon dignified and free.
The Bloc reviewed developments in light of the Zionist aggression on Lebanon and the US-Zionist aggression on Iran, concluding:
- The resistance mujahideen’s confrontation of the enemy’s occupation attempts in border villages writes a new dawn for Lebanon, shaping the future of our people and country, which won’t be subject to Zionist domination. These heroes, after a month of ground invasion, continue to face the occupation army, preventing them from establishing a foothold or stability on our land.
- The Zionist enemy’s attempt to establish a buffer zone in southern Lebanon is a serious threat, trying to achieve its historical dream of annexing part of our land. The resistance and southerners are at the forefront of confronting this danger, and it’s a national duty for the state and all loyal citizens to mobilize their efforts to ward off this threat.
- The risks surrounding Lebanon require the highest level of national responsibility from the state and forces concerned with Lebanon’s survival. The Bloc calls for awareness of these risks, which threaten Lebanon’s existence, and for unity, cooperation, and utilizing all political, military, and popular strengths to confront this existential threat.
- The Bloc values responsible national engagement with displaced citizens and providing them with assistance. It emphasizes the importance of cooperation and unity among Lebanese in this regard, rejecting calls for division and strife. The Bloc affirms that displaced people and their representative political forces are among the most committed to national peace and coexistence. It rejects any discourse that divides Lebanese or attempts to intimidate them, as this serves the enemies of Lebanon.
- The Bloc condemns the criminal US-Zionist aggression against Iran, affirming solidarity with Iran’s right to defend itself. The Islamic Republic’s resilience and its people’s unity around its leadership, government, army, and Revolutionary Guard demonstrate the aggression’s failure to achieve its goals of toppling the Islamic Republic or imposing surrender terms on Iran.
The Bloc saw Iran’s defense of its sovereignty, national decision, and the Islamic nation as shaping the future of our nation’s people, free from occupation, domination, and exploitation of countries’ and peoples’ resources.
