Foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia emphasized the necessity of halting the Zionist regime aggression, stressing the role of the international community in curbing crimes against regional nations and safeguarding peace and stability.
In a telephone conversation on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments, Tasnim news agency reported.
The two ministers exchanged views on various issues related to Iran-Saudi Arabia bilateral relations.

Referring to the developments in southern Yemen, Araqchi emphasized the need for unity and territorial integrity of that country, as well as the necessity of implementing the roadmap.
The top Iranian diplomat also condemned the Zionist aggression of the Zionist regime against Lebanon, stressing the responsibility of the international community, particularly the guarantors of the ceasefire, to stop Israel’s aggression and crimes against the Lebanese people.
For his part, the Saudi foreign minister, while highlighting the importance of continued consultation and cooperation among regional countries to preserve peace and stability, emphasized the necessity of holding the Zionist regime accountable.
Earlier on Saturday, Araghchi hold a similar phone call with his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani in which the two top officials discussed regional developments, expressing concern over the continued Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon.
