The Iranian negotiating team, headed by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan, to negotiate with the American side.
The delegation includes security, political, military, economic and legal committees.
The talks will begin if the other side accepts Iran’s preconditions for starting the talks.
Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Mohammad Baqer Zolghadr, Secretary of the Defense Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati, and some members of the Parliament are accompanying Qalibaf in the visit.
Vice President of the US terrorist administration JD Vance has also arrived in Islamabad along with Steve Witkoff (United States Special Envoy to the Middle East) and Jared Kushner (Trump’s son-in-law).
After the proud show of power by the Iranian armed forces and the amazing presence of the Iranian people in defense of Iran, the United States and the Zionist regime were forced to offer a ceasefire after 40 days of war-mongering and crimes and without achieving even one of their declared goals. The United States also requested negotiations.
Iran accepted the 2-week ceasefire but stressed that if an agreement satisfactory to Iran and the axis of resistance is not reached and conflict begins, it will once again set fire to the US interests in the region as well as the Zionist regime.
