Israeli attacks on Lebanon intensified Monday, with more than 2,000 martyrs reported so far, as waves of airstrikes and drone attacks pounded southern villages, leaving widespread destruction and deepening fears of further escalation.

The Israeli campaign showed no signs of slowing, with a marked escalation targeting towns and civilian areas across South Lebanon.

According to Al-Manar’s correspondent, Israeli drones struck motorcycles in separate attacks. One at the entrance of a Lebanese Red Cross center in Tyre, while the other in the nearby town of Al-Abbasiyeh, underscoring the expanding scope of the strikes.

In the town of Sir Al-Gharbiyeh, footage from the ground revealed extensive devastation.

The destruction in Sir Al-Gharibiyeh mirrored scenes emerging from Bazouriyeh, which came under a brutal assault in recent hours.

Airstrikes also hit multiple towns in the Nabatieh region, including Maifadoun, Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, and Jebshit, while the village of Toul bore the brunt of heavy destruction following successive raids.

Further south, Israeli artillery shelling and airstrikes targeted the city of Bint Jbeil and the towns of Kawnine and Qabrikha, as well as Sojod, continuing a pattern of sustained bombardment across populated areas.

In the border town of Khiam, a massive explosion reported early Monday highlighted the intensity of the enemy strikes near frontline areas.

The ongoing attacks, now in their seventh week, have left vast regions of southern Lebanon devastated, with entire communities facing destruction amid an increasingly indiscriminate and punishing campaign by the Israeli enemy.
