Israeli Enemy Announces Soldier’s Death, 154 Injuries in 5 Days of Southern Lebanon Fighting

The Israeli army announces the death of a soldier in southern Lebanon, while also revealing that 154 officers and soldiers have been wounded in the fighting that has raged for five days, including dozens with serious and moderate injuries.

In a statement, the enemy identified the deceased as First Sergeant Eyal Oriel Bianco, who was killed during clashes in southern Lebanon. The statement also indicated that three other soldiers were wounded in the recent confrontations.

According to Israeli occupation military figures, 34 soldiers have been seriously wounded and 78 others have sustained moderate injuries since the latest escalation began. Assessments within the Israeli military establishment indicate an increase in the intensity of the clashes in southern Lebanon.

Meanwhile, Israeli media outlets quoted military and security sources as saying that the situation on the ground is now closer to a return to open warfare than to de-escalation, given the continued operations and exchanges of fire.

Hebrew media reports also spoke of dozens of drones being launched toward northern occupied Palestine, some equipped with advanced, difficult-to-detect systems, causing damage to several settlements, including Kiryat Shmona. The reports also mentioned the use of suicide drones to target Israeli occupation military vehicles in southern Lebanon.
