Hezbollah’s Military Media released a defiant message on Wednesday from its fighters addressed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has repeatedly boasted that ‘Israel’ has “eliminated” the group’s capabilities.
The video shows a rocket attack by Hezbollah fighters against Kiryat Shmona, dated on April 1.
The footage opens with two resistance fighters riding a motorcycle, one telling the other: “Let’s see Netanyahu’s goals which he destroyed,” in reference to Hezbollah capabilities that the Israeli prime minister claimed Israel had eliminated.
The scene then shifts to the fighters beside a truck-mounted rocket launcher displaying images of former Hezbollah leaders Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, senior commander Hajj Imad Mughniyeh, and Islamic Revolutionary leader Sayyed Mujtaba Khamenei.
Three fighters then appear chanting: “Are we not on the path of truth? It matters not whether death comes to us or we go forth to meet it,” echoing the well-known words of Ali Al-Akbar (a.s.), son of Imam Hussein (a.s.), at the Battle of Karbala.
The video concludes with the trio chanting: “At your service, O Nasrallah.”
