Head of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, Hajj Mohammad Raad, blasted the “negotiation” session between a Lebanese delegation and the representative of the Zionist entity in Washington, describing it as a “photo-op”.
MP Raad affirmed that the ‘photo-op’ negotiating session in Washington between representatives of the Lebanese authorities, the Zionist enemy entity, and the United States of America indicated anything only indicated the lowliness of Lebanese affairs in the American agenda — contrary to what some panting crawlers seeking the approval of the American sponsor of the criminal, rogue Zionist enemy are promoting.
“Moreover, the statement issued from that disgraceful session, in both form and content, does not merely undermine the credibility of the Lebanese authority’s claim that it conditioned a ceasefire before any negotiation; it also demolishes all its claims of concern for sovereignty and entrenches its subservience and submission to what the enemy and its sponsor want in terms of joint cooperation — not to end the occupation, but to work to disarm the honorable and legitimate resistance embraced by the proud Lebanese people to confront the Zionist occupation of Lebanon.”
“Direct negotiation — which is rejected and condemned — with the Zionist enemy is a fall from a great height for the authority. May God protect Lebanon and its people from the missteps of those who belittle its sovereignty and the dignity of its people,” MP Raad concluded.
MP Ibrahim Mousawi, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, told Reuters that Tehran is using its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz as leverage to secure a ceasefire in Lebanon.
“The Iranians are exerting intense pressure on the Americans and have informed them that they will continue their blockade of the Strait of Hormuz unless Lebanon is included in the ceasefire agreement.”
