Hezbollah announced on Wednesday a retaliatory drone strike targeting an Israeli site in Al-Bayyada, in response to the ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire announced last week.
In a statement, the group’s Military Media said Islamic Resistance fighters targeted newly established Israeli artillery emplacement in Al-Bayyada with an attack drone, setting one of its fire control rooms ablaze.
The statement, numbered 1 for Wednesday, said the strike took place at 11:00 a.m., “in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the Israeli enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and its continued aggression against villages in southern Lebanon with artillery shells.”
The Israeli enemy goes ahead with its violations which took effect last Friday (April 17), with artillery shelling targeting several areas across south Lebanon, occupation forces conducting demolition operations and drones targeting vehicles.

Earlier on Tuesday, Hezbollah targeted an Israeli artillery bunker in Kfar Giladi settlement with a rocket barrage and a swarm of attack drones, citing an artillery shelling from this site targeting Yuhmor Al-Shaqeef town.
