The commander of the Quds Force in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, said on Sunday that Hezbollah’s resistance has proven that the Zionist entity’s claims about destroying the resistance’s capabilities are nothing but lies.
In a statement, Qaani added that despite the Zionist entity’s deployment of significant resources, including elite manpower and advanced military equipment provided by American taxpayers, it is now more helpless than ever in the face of the steadfastness of the zealous Lebanese youth.
Qaani emphasized that the Zionist entity has consistently failed throughout the years to win any war and has been unable to achieve its objectives.
He further asserted that unity and cohesion across the entire resistance front are stronger and more resilient than ever before, stressing that “Hezbollah is not alone; the entire resistance front stands with its fighters and mujahideen.” He affirmed that whenever necessary, they will act in support of the oppressed peoples of Palestine and Lebanon.
Qaani reiterated that the unity of the various fronts is stronger and more influential than ever in supporting Hezbollah and the other pillars of the resistance front.
Separately, Iran is making a ceasefire on the Lebanese front a fundamental condition in its negotiations with the United States in Islamabad. The Islamic Republic boycotted the second round of negotiations due to the other side’s failure to adhere to several conditions, including lifting the naval blockade on Iranian ports and halting Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
