Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance in Lebanon carried out on Tuesday a series of operations in response to the Israeli enemy’s ceasefire violations and strikes on civilians in southern Lebanese towns, affirming the actions were undertaken in defense of Lebanon and its people.

The group’s military media issued consecutive statements detailing the attacks and their outcomes.

The first statement announced that at 13:00 on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, Hezbollah fighters targeted an Israeli military bulldozer while it was demolishing houses in the city of Bint Jbeil with an attack drone and achieved a confirmed hit.

Simultaneously at 13:00 on Tuesday, Hezbollah fighters directly hit a gathering of Israeli occupation army soldiers in the town square of Al-Qantara with an attack drone, according to the group’s second statement.

Hezbollah’s third statement mentioned that the fighters targeted a Merkava tank in the town square of Qantara with an attack drone, achieving a direct and confirmed hit.

Statement four reported that at 18:30 on Tuesday, Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation army soldiers in the town of Taybeh with a squadron of attack drones.

Hezbollah’s operations have been marked by increasingly coordinated drone attacks, reflecting a shift toward more specialized tactics. According to the Israeli newspaper Maariv, the group has imposed a more complex battlefield dynamic on the Israeli army, complicating its efforts to secure a sustained foothold in southern Lebanon through calculated and effective operations.
