A video released by Hezbollah on Tuesday shows an FPV drone operation launched from southern Lebanon, targeting an Israeli Merkava tank in the border town of Al-Qantara.
The one-minute clip, released by the group’s Military Media, depicts a drone being deployed from a southern position, followed by aerial footage of Israeli military vehicles, including Merkava tanks, in the targeted area. The video then shows one of the tanks being struck.
The footage, dated April 28, is accompanied by the group’s well-known soundtrack and appears to highlight a pattern of recent operations relying on FPV drones and light aerial platforms in cross-border confrontations against Israeli enemy forces.
Hezbollah has increasingly showcased drone-based attacks in its media output over recent weeks, as the resistance group heroically confronts the Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
