A senior commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said the US has failed to achieve its objectives regarding the Strait of Hormuz despite mobilizing all its capabilities during and after the 40-day war of aggression against Iran.
Speaking about the latest regional developments, IRGC Deputy Commander for Political Affairs General Yadollah Javani said the US is exerting all its power in a confrontation with Iran but will ultimately suffer defeat.
He stated that US President Donald Trump’s main problem today is reopening the Strait of Hormuz, adding that Washington made every possible effort during the 40-day war against Iran and afterwards to resolve it but failed to obtain results.
The IRGC official further stressed that Trump is in no way capable of turning the clock back to the conditions that existed before February 28 or changing the current situation.
