Iran Warns UAE of ‘Crushing and Regretful’ Response if Attacks are Launched from Its Territories

Iran has warned the United Arab Emirates that any military action launched from its soil against Iranian territory will be met with a “crushing and regretful” response.

The warning was issued by the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Iran’s highest military command center for coordinating the armed forces, on Tuesday amid the rapid escalation of tensions in the Persian Gulf region.

“If any action is taken from Emirati soil against Iranian islands, ports, or coastlines, we will deliver a crushing and regretful response,” warned the military command spokesperson.

The spokesperson categorically denied recent claims by the UAE Ministry of Defense that Iran had carried out missile or drone operations against Emirati territory.

“The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have conducted no such operations in recent days,” the spokesperson said, dismissing Emirati claims.

“Had any action been taken, we would have announced it with certainty and clarity. The report by that country’s Ministry of Defense is categorically denied and is entirely devoid of truth.”

The statement said the UAE has transformed into a launchpad for Iran’s adversaries, most notably the United States and the Israeli regime.

“With great regret, the UAE has today become one of the main American and Zionist bases – enemies of the Islamic world and the primary cause of insecurity in the region,” said the Khatam al-Anbiya spokesperson, adding that the Arab country now serves as a staging ground for much of their military forces and equipment.

The statement urged Emirati leaders to reconsider their alignment with the US and ‘Israel’.

“Your country must not serve as a nest for Americans and Zionists and their military forces and equipment, betraying the Islamic world and Muslims. Do not trap yourselves in their snare.”

It also denounced the coordinated propaganda campaign, decrying Abu Dhabi for engaging in “cowardly media attacks, false accusations, and playing the victim.”

The spokesperson hastened to add that Iran’s previous restraint was strategic.

“If we have shown restraint until now in the face of your propaganda and your assistance to the enemies of the Islamic nation and Iran, it has been solely for the sake of security and out of consideration for our own Muslim brothers and sisters in that country,” he stated, adding that the restraint has limits.

The statement came shortly after Press TV reported that Iran has officially launched a new mechanism for governing maritime traffic through the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

Under the newly implemented system, all vessels intending to transit the Strait will receive an email from the official address info@PGSA.ir outlining the rules and regulations for passage.

Ships are required to adjust their operations according to this framework and obtain a transit permit before crossing the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical oil shipping chokepoints.

Iranian armed forces have placed the Strait of Hormuz under strict control, blocking all ships associated with the US and Israel following the launch of their war of aggression against the Islamic Republic on February 28.

Tensions have escalated sharply in recent days after the United States launched an operation on Sunday aimed at breaking Iran’s control over the Strait. Iranian forces have repeatedly warned US warships against approaching the strategic waterway.

On Monday, a massive blaze was reported at oil facilities in Fujairah Port in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Authorities in Fujairah accused Iran of launching a drone strike.

Citing a senior military source, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) said the Iranian armed forces had no premeditated plan to attack the aforementioned oil facilities.

“What happened was a product of the US Army’s adventurism to create a corridor for the illegal passage of ships through the prohibited waterways of the Strait of Hormuz,” the source stated
