One month after Israeli so-called “Eternal Darkness” operation unleashed the largest coordinated wave of strikes across Lebanon, justice remains out of reach for the victims, said Sahar Mandour of Amnesty International on Friday.
“On April 8, Israeli forces struck around 100 sites across Lebanon within just 10 minutes, killing and wounding hundreds,” she said adding that civilians continue to bear a heavy toll, with children, healthcare workers, and journalists among those martyred.

In a 4-minute video posted on the organization’s Facebook account, Mandour urged states to immediately halt arms transfers to the Zionist entity, warning of an overriding risk that such weapons could be used in serious violations of international humanitarian law.
Hundreds of Lebanese were martyred, with many more others were injured in more than 100 Israeli strikes that rocked across Lebanon in less than ten minutes on April 8.
