Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Qassem hailed the epic resilience of resistance fighters, stressing that they astonished the world after enemies said they were “finished and defeated.”

In a message on Tuesday delivered via Al-Manar, the Hezbollah leader said the resistance group will neither submit nor surrender, vowing that the battlefield will turn into a hell for the Israeli enemy, and that there is no return to pre-March 2 era.

His eminence called on the authorities in Lebanon to withdraw from the direct negotiations with the Zionist entity, stressing that the talks constitute a gain for ‘Israel’ and gratuitous concessions from the Lebanese authorities.

Sheikh Qassem noted that any agreement between Iran and US that includes a cessation of aggression against Lebanon is the strongest card to stop the Israeli attacks.

He affirmed that affairs related to arms, resistance, and internal governance are strictly Lebanon’s internal concern and that no external party has a role in.

Message to Resistance Fighters, People

Addressing the resistance commanders, unit officials, and all the mujahideen (fighters) in all fields, Sheikh Qassem said: “Your [FPV] drones embrace the land, constraining the Israeli occupier. Your UAVs terrify the evildoers and tyrants of the earth, while your missiles shake their sense of stability at its core.”

“But above all, it is you who matter. Your faith strikes the occupier like thunder, your spirit is a light that breaks their darkness, and your advance into the field shakes their hearts and minds,” Sheikh Qassem stated.

His eminence added: “You do not die; you either persist in the battlefield or are counted among the martyrs, alive with your Lord and well provided for.”

“They said ‘you were finished and would lose’, but your epic and resilient Jihad astonished the world!”.

Hezbollah fighters
Hezbollah military media released an image showing fighters inside a bunker, accompanied by the Qur’anic verse: “He ˹is the One Who˺ produced you from the earth and settled you on it” (Qur’an 11:61).

Meanwhile, Sheikh Qassem saluted people, stating: “Greetings to our people, whose strength and patience are a source of pride. My beloved ones, the light of my eyes and my heart, I am grateful for the honor of being among you and in your service.”

Latest Political Developments

The Hezbollah S.G. then shifted to talk about the political developments by saying: “We are up against the criminal and savage Israeli enemy, backed by the tyrant US, with other countries aligning themselves with its power, and defeated peoples left dependent on its influence.”

Sheikh Qassem then pointed to the imbalance of power between the Lebanese resistance and the enemies, citing a holy Quran verse: “How many times has a small force vanquished a mighty army by the Will of Allah! And Allah is ˹always˺ with the steadfast (2:249).”

“A powerful and brutal force confronts a much smaller group with limited resources and support, yet backed by God, the Most High, and that’s why we will prevail.”

He stated that Lebanon faces an Israeli-US aggression that seeks to subjugate it, to make the country part of ‘Greater Israel’.

In this context, Sheikh Qassem vowed: “We’ll neither submit, nor surrender, and we will continue to defend Lebanon and its people, no matter how long it takes.”

“We won’t leave the battlefield which we will turn into a hell for Israel, we will respond to the aggression and violations, and we won’t return to the situation before March 2.”

He pointed to a potential deal between Iran and the US “that includes a cessation of attacks against Lebanon”, stressing that such agreement “is the strongest card to stop the Israeli aggression.”

Sheikh Qassem called on the Lebanese authorities to withdraw from the direct negotiations with the Israeli enemy, stressing that such talks “constitute a gain for ‘Israel’ and gratuitous concessions from the Lebanese authorities.”

In this context, he affirmed that the option of indirect negotiations “give the Lebanese negotiator greater leverage.”

Sheikh Qassem stressed, meanwhile, that issues of arms, resistance, and internal state organization fall exclusively within Lebanon’s sovereign domain.

“No external party has a role in Lebanon’s internal decisions regarding weapons, resistance, or state organization.”
