Head of Yemeni Ansarullah Movement, Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddin al-Houthi said in his speech today, Monday, on the occasion of the beginning of Dhul-Hijjah 1447 AH, that the Israeli enemy has continued for more than fifteen months with daily killings, destruction, and blowing up houses, targeting agricultural crops with toxic gases, in addition to kidnappings, aerial violations, preventing residents of southern towns from returning to their villages, and practicing various forms of aggression and violations.
He said the Israeli aggression did not stop even after the recent agreement brokered by Pakistan between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Axis of Resistance on one side, and the American and Israeli enemy on the other side, affirming the continuation of Israeli attacks and violations against Lebanon.
He noted that Hezbollah is fulfilling its legitimate right and duty by all considerations, whether under international law, UN charters, norms, and laws, in confronting the Zionist aggression targeting Lebanon and the Lebanese people. He considered that targeting South Lebanon represents targeting all of Lebanon and a violation of its sovereignty.
Sayyed al-Houthi criticized some parties in the Lebanese authority, saying they are moving toward blaming Hezbollah for escalation and are exerting pressure and incitement against it, in positions that serve the Israeli enemy and ignore the fact that the enemy is the aggressor and violator of all agreements. He affirmed that the Israeli enemy entity has not committed to any agreement, whether in Gaza or Lebanon.
He praised the operations carried out by Hezbollah against the Israeli enemy in South Lebanon, describing them as effective and impactful operations that restore dignity to the Lebanese people and exert real pressure on the occupation. He said the Lebanese authority should have used these operations to pressure for a halt to the aggression and a full withdrawal from the occupied Lebanese territories.
Sayyed al-Houthi affirmed that Hezbollah, with its principles and positions, will not accept equations based on disarming it in exchange for the continuation of Israeli occupation and aggression. He called on the peoples of the nation to be aware of what some with deviant tendencies are doing—blaming Hezbollah, holding it responsible, exerting pressure on it, inciting against it, and trying to stab it in the back with foolish political positions that serve the enemy by attempting to distort the image of the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance and adopt American and Israeli narratives that consider the resistance’s weapons to be the main problem.
Regarding Syria, Sayyed al-Houthi said that the groups in control there, despite adopting positions that do not consider the Israeli enemy a direct adversary, have not benefited from that. The Israeli enemy has continued its occupation and daily violations inside Syrian territory, including killing, kidnapping, violations, and seizing areas in southern Syria.
He explained that what the Americans seek, whether in Lebanon or Syria, is to remove obstacles to completing Israeli control in the region. He affirmed that the United States is a key partner of the Israeli enemy in the project of so-called “Greater Israel” and the plans to reshape the “Middle East.”
Sayyed al-Houthi pointed to the military maneuvers conducted by the Israeli enemy this week, which simulated a surprise attack on Egypt and Jordan. He noted the existence of clear “Israeli” positions and statements toward the two countries, and what is reflected in “Israeli” maps that include the Levant and large parts of Egyptian territory. He said there are indicators of American preparation for escalation, and that they are ready for any upcoming developments.
Sayyed al-Houthi called on the nation to move to confront its enemies in all fields, foremost among them the military field.
He affirmed that the Yemeni people are ready for all developments, praising their great presence in the squares, in million-strong demonstrations, and in the important and great activities of general mobilization, training, qualification, and readiness at all levels, and mobilization at all levels and in all fields. He said this great, honorable faith-based revival is befitting of this great people—the Yemen of faith, wisdom, and jihad.
He continued: “We remain steadfast on our clear principled positions that we have affirmed in every speech and in every position, and practically as well, and we are ready for any upcoming developments, God willing.”
In this context, Sayyed al-Houthi affirmed that there are indicators of American preparation for escalation after its failure in the previous round. He expressed regret that the American arrangements for this escalation are based on exploiting some Arab countries. He said some regimes and governments have not learned from the lessons of the previous round, despite the results and effects of hosting American bases that attack the Islamic Republic of Iran. He noted that they are burdening themselves with more financial costs to protect American bases and also to protect the Israeli enemy.
He denounced some Gulf states stripping original citizens of their nationality, and the political, media, and intelligence positions that serve the American and Israeli stance. He considered that this encourages the Americans and the Israeli enemy to stir strife in this region, and puts this region and those countries themselves at risk, serving the Israeli enemy and betraying the nation.
He warned that any new escalation will have serious effects on the region as a whole, and even more so on the world. He called on the nation to know who the enemy is and who the friend is, noting that America and the Israeli enemy are the foreign parties aggressing against this nation by all considerations, and they have come for occupation, injustice, criminality, targeting this nation, controlling these countries, and enslaving these peoples, with all aggression, criminality, and conspiracies.
He added: “Therefore, we must realize that the important criterion for a position is Islamic principles, and the nation’s belonging to its Islam as one nation targeted by a common enemy that poses a danger to all of it.” He noted that the Zionist plan targets this nation, foremost the Arab countries, which were harmed first by the Zionist plan through the occupation of Palestine and the occupation of other Arab lands.
He said the Zionist plan is clear, and the map of “Greater Israel” is clear in that it targets the Arabs first. He asked: “How do they move to cooperate with a direct enemy?” He said that any titles raised by the Americans or Israelis, such as the nuclear weapons title, are deceptive. They possess nuclear weapons, and the Americans were the first to use nuclear weapons for genocide and comprehensive criminality.
Sayyed al-Houthi said: “They and the Israeli enemy should be stripped of all types of weapons. They are the ones who use weapons to annihilate peoples, for injustice, criminality, and aggression. And with this false pretext they make a pretext, which has no truth to it.”
He noted that Iran does not seek to possess nuclear weapons. Nevertheless, he said that the Jews, America, and the Israeli enemy entity will not stop targeting our peoples as long as the opportunity is available to them. It is easy for them to announce other deceptive titles alongside the real title they admit and declare, which is changing the “Middle East” and establishing “Greater Israel.”
He considered it important for our peoples to be aware and insightful regarding the reality of the enemies’ plans and their sacred responsibilities. If they rise to them, they will be granted God’s aid and victory, as He Almighty said: [And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might].
He explained that the solution for this nation is not to shirk responsibility and not to implement what the enemies dictate. The solution is to act within the correct stance to which God has guided, and within the divine plan to confront evil—those Zionist Jews and their supporters.
