In a powerful Hajj message, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei has called on Muslim nations to forge a new regional and global order beyond American dominance, declaring that the United States is steadily losing its foothold in the region.
“The Muslim Ummah and the nations of the region possess many shared capacities and common interests that will shape the new order and the future architecture of the region and the world,” Ayatollah Khamenei wrote in his message on Tuesday, the Day of Arafah.
He stressed that Muslim nations are entering an irreversible historical phase: “The hands of time will not turn back, and the nations and lands of the region will no longer serve as shields for US bases.” The Leader added that America “will no longer have a safe haven for its mischief and for establishing military bases” and is “growing more distant from its former status day by day. The future belongs to the Muslim Ummah and the new Islamic civilization.”
Resistance Front’s triumphs and Israel’s nearing demise
The message highlighted the regional Resistance Front as a unified movement extending “from Iran to Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Syria, from Africa and Yemen to Afghanistan and Pakistan.” These forces, he noted, have confronted US influence, challenged Israeli occupation, and fought the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group.
Ayatollah Khamenei described the Israeli regime as a “cancerous tumor” and an “unstable regime” nearing “the final stages of its cursed life.” He reiterated a prediction by the martyred former Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who once foretold that the regime would not survive another 25 years.
‘Iran rendered Israel helpless, delivered a hard slap to the US’
Elsewhere in the message, the Leader celebrated Iran’s decisive blows against the US and Israel during their latest aggression. “The Islamic Republic succeeded in rendering the Zionist regime helpless under its heavy blows, delivering a hard slap to the aggressive America, and thwarting the enemy’s goal of forcing Iran into surrender,” the message read.
Ayatollah Khamenei praised the Iranian Armed Forces and allied resistance groups, particularly in Lebanon, for achieving “remarkable victories” against what he called “the fully armed American-Zionist terrorist armies.” He specifically cited the deployment of missiles and drones “on land, in the air, and at sea” against “the Great Satan, meaning America, and its trained animal, the Zionist regime.”
Iranian nation ‘astonished the world’
The message noted that following the “heartbreaking martyrdom” of the great leader (Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei) during the early stages of aggression, the Iranian public entered a new phase of mobilization. The nation, he said, “astonished the world” through mass street demonstrations in support of the Armed Forces and resilience after the martyrdom.
Hajj: a path of spiritual and political transformation
Describing Hajj as a continuous path of devotion, rejection of false powers, self-purification, and defense of truth and justice, the Leader said the Iranian nation embarked on such a path during the 1979 Islamic Revolution by rejecting “subservience” and rallying around “pure Muhammadan Islam.”
That religious zeal, he added, helped overthrow the former tyrannical US‑backed regime and later reinforced the country during the Western‑backed imposed war of the 1980s and decades of sanctions.
‘Death to America, Death to Israel’ as the Muslim world’s common slogan
Addressing Iranian pilgrims directly, the message said they bear “an effective and prominent role” in conveying the story of “victory in the face of the third imposed war” to Muslims from other countries during Hajj. It also called for prayers for Muslim unity, the liberation of Palestine, and victory over global arrogance.
