Israeli media reported the death of an Israeli soldier and the injury of seven others in an attack involving two drones in Shomera, in the Western Galilee.
Israeli media also reported the explosion of several drones in a military area in the Western Galilee.
The spokesperson for the Israeli army stated that following alerts activated in the past hour in the Shlomi area, several explosive-laden drones were detected and detonated in “Israeli territory,” near the border with Lebanon.
Sirens sounded in Zar’it, Eilon, Hanita, Shomera, Gorin, Admit, Arab al-Aramshe, Gornot HaGalil, Shtula, Avnei Menachem, and Ya’ara in the Western Galilee due to fears of drone infiltration.
