Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance in Lebanon carried out on Saturday a series of operations in response to the Israeli enemy’s ceasefire violations and strikes on civilians in southern Lebanese towns and Beirut, affirming the actions were undertaken in defense of Lebanon and its people.
The group’s military media issued consecutive statements detailing the attacks and their outcomes.
The first statement highlighted that at dawn on Friday, May 29, 2026, Hezbollah fighters engaged an Israeli Hermes 450 “Zik” drone operating in the airspace over the town of Zawtar Al-Sharqiyeh, striking it with a surface-to-air missile.
The second and third statements reported that at 01:45 and again at 03:35 AM on Saturday, Hezbollah fighters targeted the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona with two separate rocket barrages.
Statement 4: Successful Ambush in Al-Ghandouriya
Following close monitoring of Israeli movements, Hezbollah fighters ambushed a combined Israeli force attempting to advance toward the eastern outskirts of Al-Ghandouriya at dawn on Saturday. Explosive devices were detonated against the advancing unit, while it was simultaneously struck with artillery shelling and rocket fire. Israeli occupation forces were reportedly forced to withdraw under heavy smoke cover, as the surrounding area was subsequently subjected to air and artillery bombardment.
The fifth statement reported that at 05:55 on Saturday, Hezbollah fighters struck the Meron surveillance and air operations base in northern Palestine with a rocket barrage.
“At 04:30 on Saturday, Hezbollah fighters targeted Israeli military infrastructure in the occupied city of Safed with rockets,” the group’s sixth statement mentioned.
According to the group’s seventh statement, at 01:00 AM on Saturday, Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of vehicles and soldiers of the Israeli occupation army in the town of Beit Lif with a rocket salvo.
The eighth and ninth statements mentioned that at 07:00 and 07:30 AM on Saturday, Hezbollah fighters targeted gatherings of Israeli military vehicles and soldiers on the eastern outskirts of Al-Ghandouriya with artillery fire before the same area was struck again at 08:00 with a rocket barrage.
The tenth statement mentioned that at 09:30 AM on Saturday, Hezbollah fighters targeted an Israeli occupation force at Liman Barracks with a suicide drone.

The eleventh statement reported that at 12:40 on Saturday, Hezbollah fighters targeted the Shomera Israeli occupation barracks with a drone strike.
The group’s twelfth statement asserted that at 12:00, Hezbollah fighters targeted two Merkava tanks on the outskirts of Zawtar Al-Sharqiyeh with two guided missiles. When an Israeli occupation force advanced toward the tanks, it was struck by a third guided missile, scoring a direct hit.
Statement 13: Another Ambush in Debbin
Hezbollah fighters ambushed an Israeli force attempting to advance toward the outskirts of Debbin. An explosive device was detonated against the advancing unit, followed by two separate engagements using medium and light weapons, forcing Israeli occupation forces to withdraw.
The fourteenth statement reported that at 12:30 on Saturday, a Merkava tank on the outskirts of Yohmor Al-Shaqif was targeted with an Ababil attack drone, resulting in its destruction.
The fifteenth statement mentioned that at 13:10 on Saturday, an Israeli “Yagu” armored vehicle on the outskirts of Yohmor Al-Shaqif was targeted with an Ababil attack drone and destroyed.
The sixteenth statement reported that at 14:30 on Saturday, Hezbollah fighters targeted the Ya’ara Israeli occupation barracks with a swarm of attack drones.
The seventeenth statement mentioned that at 16:30 on Saturday, Hezbollah fighters targeted an Israeli military command headquarters in the town of Naqoura with a swarm of attack drones.
The eighteenth statement reported that at 16:50 Saturday, Hezbollah fighters targeted infrastructure belonging to the Israeli occupation army in the settlement of Nahariya with a rocket barrage.
