Israeli Occupation Ramps Up Attacks across West Bank, Al-Quds

Israeli occupation stepped up attacks against Palestinians across the West Bank and occupied Al-Quds on Tuesday.

Palestinian media reported that eleven Palestinian students were wounded during an ongoing Israeli military incursion on Birzeit University, Palestine’s premier institution for higher studies.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that the total number of injuries included five students struck by live ammunition, four who suffered from tear gas inhalation, and two who were injured from falling during the raid. All causalities were later transferred to hospital for medical treatment, WAFA news agency reported.

Nirdin Al-Mimi, the university’s public relations officer, said that two other students sustained bruises from falling, and several others suffered from tear gas inhalation. She also confirmed that Israeli forces fired live ammunition, tear gas canisters, and stun grenades inside the campus.

Settler Attacks

Meanwhile on Tuesday afternoon, two Palestinians were wounded by Israeli settler gunfire, while two others were detained by Israeli forces in the village of Rashaydeh, east of Bethlehem.

The head of the Rashaydeh village council, Jumaa Rashaydeh, told WAFA correspondent that dozens of Zionist settlers attacked the village and opened fire on residents, wounding two, one in the foot and the other in the hand. The wounded were transferred to a medical center for treatment.

The Palestinian official added that Israeli forces later raided the area and detained Zakaria Habes Rashaydeh, 21, and Muhammad Asaad Rashaydeh, 22.

Rashaydeh village has been subjected to frequent attacks by Israeli settlers, ranging from gunfire and harassment of residents to attacks on their properties, all under the protection of Israeli forces. This is part of an ongoing escalation targeting Palestinian villages east of Bethlehem.

Elsewhere in the northern Jordan Valley, Zionist settlers an agricultural tractor in an attack on a privately-owned Palestinian land in Khirbet Khader, near Al-Hamma.

Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out 23,827 attacks against Palestinians and their properties across multiple governorates during 2025, marking a record increase in the number of violations documented in a single year.

The attacks were distributed as follows: 1,382 assaults targeting lands and agricultural areas, 16,664 attacks against individuals, and 5,398 attacks on properties, according to WAFA news agency.

Al-Aqsa Incursion

Earlier on Tuesday morning, some 160 Zionist settlers stormed holy Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Al-Quds.

The Islamic Waqf (Endowment) said 163 settlers stormed the holy compound from Al-Mgharbeh Gate, backed by Israeli occupation soldiers.

The settlers stormed the compound, toured its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals in the Bab Al-Rahma area, east of the mosque. The Waqf also stated that 15 members of the Israeli intelligence members stormed the mosque.
