Hezbollah Footage Exposes Israeli Vulnerability in South Lebanon

Image of former Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei appears near a resistance fighter in south Lebanon (May 2026).

Newly released footage by Hezbollah Military Media on Wednesday offers a rare, close-range look at evolving battlefield tactics in southern Lebanon, showing coordinated rocket launches and precision drone strikes targeting Israeli forces in what appears to be a sustained war of attrition.

The 150-second video displays attacks on Israeli gatherings in the southern Lebanese towns of Bayyada, Deir Seryan, Dibel and Rshaf in strikes dated May 24.

The video opens with carefully staged scenes of fighters preparing rocket launchers in rugged terrain, signaling operational readiness. The imagery then shifts to symbolic framing, including a prominent image of former Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, underscoring the faithful backdrop accompanying the battlefield operations.

Moments later, the footage transitions into action: rockets are launched in rapid succession toward Israeli positions, followed by sequences showing attack drones being deployed.

The drones—guided with notable precision—are directed toward what appear to be gatherings of Israeli soldiers and vehicles, suggesting prior surveillance and target identification.
