Rapid-Fire Shooting Operation Across Four Sites: One Dead, Several Injured in Occupied ’48 Territories

One Israeli settler was killed and at least six others injured on Saturday in a shooting operation that targeted multiple locations inside the occupied ’48 territories, near the city of Qalqilya. Israeli police have detained one suspect and launched a large-scale search as far-right minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called for the execution of any shooter captured alive.

The attack unfolded across four separate sites Kochav Ya’ir, Tzur Yitzhak, Tzur Natan, and Sla’it all located north of the occupied West Bank, close to Qalqilya. Although Israeli occupation authorities classify these areas as lying inside the Green Line, they are situated geographically near Palestinian population centers in the northern West Bank.

According to Israeli media reports, the shooters opened fire in rapid succession across the four locations, causing panic and confusion among settlers. The operation left one person dead and six wounded, with some of the injured reported to be in serious condition.

Israeli police said that one individual was killed at the scene, while a second person was detained in connection with the shooting. Enemy forces have since deployed roadblocks and patrols across the surrounding area in a sweeping search operation.
