Yemeni Armed Forces announced a complete naval blockade on all Israel-linked vessels in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait, declaring that they have already carried out a successful missile strike against sensitive Israeli targets in the occupied Jaffa region, vowing to escalate operations as long as American-Israeli aggression and siege against the Axis of Resistance continue.
In a formal statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces said the move comes in the context of confronting American and Zionist aggression against the Axis of Resistance, which includes Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen. The forces rejected the “Zionist project” aimed at establishing a “Greater Israel” under the guise of a “New Middle East,” and said the blockade is an effort to break the “unjust and oppressive siege” imposed by the American enemy on the Yemeni people and other free and proud nations of the axis in Lebanon, Gaza, and Iran. The statement noted that a missile strike had already been launched targeting sensitive Israeli objectives in the occupied Jaffa region, and that thanks to God, the objectives were successfully achieved.
The Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized three key points in their announcement: first, a complete and total naval blockade against the Israeli enemy in the Red Sea, with all enemy movements considered a military target from the moment of the statement’s announcement; second, a confirmation that they will confront escalation with escalation, and that their military operations will intensify in line with the events, the battle, and their participation in the axis of jihad and resistance; and third, an affirmation of the right of their people and the free nations of the region to confront American-Israeli aggression, stating that they will not stand idly by in the face of the unjust siege on their people and the nations of the Axis of Resistance in Palestine, Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq.
The statement concluded that all enemy attempts will fail by God’s permission, and that their operations will continue as long as the aggression and siege against them and the Axis of Resistance persists.
