In a Zoom interview with The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji alleged that the Lebanese government’s “top priority” is Hezbollah’s disarmament.
The Lebanese Army is capable of confronting Hezbollah militarily if necessary, Rajji added in a clear call for a national strife.
In response, Member of the Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc Dr. Hasan Fadlallah stressed that Rajji cannot forget his history as a member of the Lebanese Forces militia which fought the Lebanese people in the civil war.
“Rajji cannot distinguish between his ministerial post and his role in the Lebanese Forces militia which had always killed the Lebanese Army soldiers.”
Their illusory dreams will be shattered again, MP Fadlallah affirmed.
