A country in the region barred ‘Israel’ from using its airspace during its strikes on Iran earlier this week, despite having granted it access during previous rounds of fighting, the Kan public broadcaster reported on Friday.
The decision caught ‘Israel’ off guard, the report said, as Tel Aviv had “expected cooperation”, as had been the case in the past.
According to the report, ‘Israel’ believes the decision to close the airspace was intended to serve as a political message.

Late Sunday, the IRGC announced that it had targeted the Ramat David airbase with ballistic missiles in response to Israeli attacks that killed and displaced civilians in southern Lebanon and Beirut’s Dahiyeh.
The Zionist entity then launched attacks on several on Iran, prompting the Islamic Republic to retaliate.
Later Monday morning, the IRGC launched ‘Operation Nasr (Victory)’, targeting the Israeli regime’s Tel Nof and Nevatim airbases in the occupied territories.
