Loyalty to Resistance Parliamentary Bloc held on Friday its periodic meeting and reviewed the latest developments of the Israeli war on Lebanon and the Iranian missile response to the enemy’s aggression on Beirut’s Dahieh.
The Bloc also harshly criticized the direct talks between the Lebanese delegation and the Israeli enemy’s representatives, especially the last round, denouncing the remarks of the US Secretary of State who described Hezbollah as a common enemy which were not rejected by Lebanon’s diplomats.
After its meeting, Hezbollah Bloc issued the following statement:
As we welcome the new Hijri year and the beginning of the nights of Ashura and the days of the sacred month of Muharram, where the eternal battle of Karbala embodies the equation of victory of blood over the sword and the triumph of sacrifice and devotion in the face of injustice and oppressors, the Bloc affirms the following:
On the national and resistance level: The Bloc stresses that Lebanon’s strength lies in its people, army, and resistance. It rejects any attempt to weaken the resistance or disarm it under any pretext, considering it a legitimate right to defend Lebanon against the Israeli occupation and its ongoing aggression. The Bloc calls on all Lebanese parties to stand united behind this national choice and to reject foreign dictates and projects aimed at undermining Lebanon’s sovereignty and stability.
On the political level: The Bloc warns against attempts to exploit the current regional and international circumstances to impose political settlements that harm Lebanon’s interests and the rights of its people. It stresses the need to adhere to national constants, foremost among them the liberation of occupied Lebanese territory, the rejection of normalization with the Israeli enemy, and adherence to the principles of justice and equality among all Lebanese.
On the social and economic level: The Bloc expresses its solidarity with the Lebanese people in the face of the suffocating economic and living crises they are enduring. It calls on the state and relevant institutions to shoulder their responsibilities in providing basic services, combating corruption, and achieving social justice. The Bloc also emphasizes the importance of supporting the steadfastness of citizens in the border areas and providing them with the necessary support in light of the continued Israeli threats.
On the regional level: The Bloc extends its greetings to the peoples of the region who are struggling for freedom and independence, foremost among them the steadfast Palestinian people and their valiant resistance. It affirms that the Palestinian cause remains the central cause of the nation, and that the battle against the Zionist occupation will continue until the restoration of all usurped rights and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
The Bloc concludes by calling on all free and honorable people to adhere to the values of Karbala—sacrifice, truth, and resistance to injustice—and to work together to build a strong, sovereign Lebanon capable of confronting challenges and defending its dignity and independence.
