Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a joint statement saying the strike was “in response to Hezbollah’s firing at Israeli territory.”
The occupation army announced it carried out “precise strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Beirut, with further details to be provided later.”
Earlier on Sunday, Hezbollah reportedly launched drone strikes targeting a military site in northern occupied Palestine, near the Lebanese border.
Hezbollah has yet to announce such strikes in its statements detailing its operations against the Israeli enemy on Sunday.
