The Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary Bloc held its periodic session on January 8, 2026, and discussed several political and parliamentary issues, issuing a statement which affirmed that the world today witnesses the shameful exposure of the US administration, which has reached the peak of tyranny, arrogance, and hypocrisy, brazenly violating values, principles, and laws that underpin international relations, aiming to protect international security and peace.
“The US practices have gone beyond the kidnapping of a head of state and his wife, fabricating charges, and trying him with premeditated revenge for political and economic reasons, aiming to dominate and seize the country’s wealth and resources, as stated by the US President himself. This threatens the international system and its stability, with implications for cultural, humanitarian, and political aspects, and relations between countries, nations, and peoples, as well as international institutions and the system of basic rights that underpin international order, sovereignty, freedom, and self-determination, and violates the identities and cultural and political specificities of peoples, threatening chaos and a return to dark periods in human history.”
The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc rejected the stance of Western countries allied with the US administration, particularly the state they have led to, and the situation in our region, where countries act submissively, as if they are a pawn for the powerful, and safety is sought through submission, bribery, and surrender.
From its parliamentary position, the bloc affirmed the following:
- The bloc strongly condemns all forms of bullying, aggression, war threats, and imposing conditions and agreements by force on any country or people, aiming to usurp their right to choose their path, system, and sovereignty, and violate their rights according to international law, whether it concerns Venezuela, Denmark, Syria, Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, or any other country or people.
- The bloc renews its call to all Lebanese to unite against the Zionist occupation, which must be expelled from our country by all available means, considering this a national priority. Failure to do so would allow the enemy to create divisions and expand its occupation, undermining the hopes and dreams of all Lebanese for a sovereign, independent, and united Lebanon.
- The bloc believes the Zionist enemy continues to violate Lebanon’s sovereignty, threatening its security and stability through assassinations, bombings, and airspace and territorial water violations, occupying land, detaining prisoners, and preventing citizens from returning to their land and rebuilding their homes. Since Lebanon, as a state, people, army, and resistance, has fulfilled its obligations to ceasefire on November 27, 2024, in southern Litani, the Lebanese government must exhaust all possibilities and pressure to compel the enemy to fulfill its obligations, starting with stopping aggression, complete and unconditional withdrawal, and avoiding concessions that encourage the enemy to continue blackmailing it.
