Hezbollah Denounces Zionist Settlers’ Burning of Two Mosques North of Occupied Ramallah

Hezbollah Statements

Hezbollah issued a statement to condemn the Zionist settlers’ burning of two mosques North of occupied Ramallah, affirming that all such heinous terrorist crimes will not deter the Palestinian people from holding firmly to their land and holy sites and defending them, regardless of the sacrifices required.

What follows is the text of the statement:

Hezbollah strongly condemns the burning of two mosques north of Ramallah by Zionist settlers in a dangerous terrorist attack targeting places of worship and violating all international laws and conventions that guarantee freedom of worship and the protection of religious sites. This crime exposes the extent of the extremism and hatred deeply rooted within the occupation entity and the settler gangs.

The timing of this criminal attack, coinciding with the beginning of the Hijri New Year and the profound values and meanings this occasion holds for Muslims, demonstrates the Zionist enemy’s determination to provoke the sentiments of Muslims and assault their holy sites and religious symbols. It also confirms the continuation of the systematic policy of desecration targeting mosques, churches, and all Islamic and Christian holy places in occupied Palestine and Lebanon.

Hezbollah affirms that all such heinous terrorist crimes will not deter the Palestinian people from holding firmly to their land and holy sites and defending them, regardless of the sacrifices required. Hezbollah calls on the international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations to assume their responsibilities regarding these repeated attacks. It also calls upon Arab and Islamic states and peoples to unite their efforts in confronting this cancerous scourge that is ravaging our region and its peoples while targeting our sacred sites.
