Suleiman Frangieh, Head of the Marada Movement in Lebanon, stated that “the American sanctions do not concern us at all”.
Frangieh continued on Thursday, “Our only crime is that we stand with a segment of our own people against a Zionist enemy that occupies our land and kills our people.”
Frangieh added, “We have always been and remain for peace, but against surrender, and this action will not affect our opinion; rather, it strengthens our conviction in it.”
US Treasury announced imposing sanctions on Frangieh over his “association with Hezbollah”
